Rs 200 note which is getting viral on Social Media

A picture of Rs 200 Bank note is doing rounds on social media and being shared especially on WhatsApp, but authentically it has not been established yet by the Government. Earlier on Tuesday media reports stated that the Reserve Bank of India cleared a proposal to issue Rs 200 note, On the upper hand, the printing could begin after June.

The live mint reported that the RBI meeting happened in march and where the Central Bank of India decided to go ahead with the new notes. However, confirmation for the same from the RBI has still not came. As by many media coverage source stated that the new notes are already are in Pipeline and is only awaiting instructions from the Central Government and go ahead with the printing procedures. On contradictory to that unless it is notified by the Central Government making a dye(block), working on security features and printing of Rs 200 notes would not take place. So, on the above aspects this time the RBI would implement its plan only after the Centre's notification. Appart from that, sources also suggested that the Government is planning to bring in new Rs 1000 notes. The media reports generated a bit of curiosity among the people by various social media platforms, and many started wondering about what would be the colour of it, some even started welcoming it.

Since demonitization government are trying to bring in new methods of systematic cashflow by scrapping of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 notes on 8 November, 2016. Since then RBI replaced this notes by new Rs 500 and Rs 2000 notes and still they are bringing in more security features along with introduction of new currencies.
